CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY
The purpose of the theological course in this department is to ascertain by inductive study, to formulate and to present in systematic form the fundamental truth of the Christian faith as revealed in the word of God. The general theological method is both exegetical and systematic, embodying – (i) Original and independent research by student in assigned field within the World; (ii) Collateral readings in the various standard theologies; (iii) Classroom discussion of problem and (iv) Systematic lectures which aim to set forth clearly the Bible doctrines, them with erroneous and inadeuate view, answers, objection and clear up difficulties, and show their practical bearing on the Christian life and Ministry. The main text book and final authority is the Bible itself.
